I'm a born-and-bred New York City girl, having moved out about 8 years ago. I have many interests, among them reading, writing, knitting, gardening, dancing, singing, playing the piano, movies, and spending time with friends and family. I became a vegan almost 3 years ago, and have never felt better. 

Recently, I've taken my writing more seriously. For the past 5 years, I've written for my organics website, http://www.organic-nature-news.com. I've since expanded my interests to humor writing, mystery short stories, and other genres. I'm a voracious reader who enjoys many different types of literature. My favorite humor writers include Erma Bombeck, Fran Lebowitz, David Sedaris and Dave Barry. I believe that a life well-lived must include a lot of laughter; otherwise, what's the point?
